About Sayaka Oka
Physiotherapist
Upon completion of her Bachelor in Sports Medicine, Sayaka had several years working as an athletic trainer & performance coach in Japan with many high-level teams & athletes before moving to Australia to study her Masters of Physiotherapy in Canberra. She now calls Australia home and is actively involved in all things strength & fitness related. Sayaka has worked in performance enhancement training & sports rehabilitation and was involved with the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (Track & Field); the Toyko Marathon from 2019-2022 and the Teikyo University Track & Field team (long-distance runner). Sayaka’s expertise includes sports injuries, post-surgical and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, plus strength and mobility improvement.
She is GLA:D certified to run our GLA:D hip & knee OA classes; APPi Clinical Pilates trained and has completed
her dry needling certification and can help your recover from an injury or improve your mobility & strength.
